OUR BIG IDEA.............
We think that the companies presently installing solar and wind systems are charging too much. Proof will be in the pudding. But we feel we can easily beat ALL the prices out there for a clean, professional job.

Put us to the test and simply ask for a quote. Not an estimate. A quote. Meaning, the cost will not change from start to finish. The term estimate will not appear on our paperwork!
As we have already stated, we are not starting to install until September or October of this year. 2009. We began our search for suppliers in December of 2008. We need to buy and test several components before we instll one here at out home. This way, potential clients can see a fully working system before they decide who they instruct to carry out the works.
We plan on making a living, not a killing, from installations that will produce clean, free energy. Okay, it is not quite free. The installation will cost a pretty penny. So, we will bring the very same systems to the market for less.
How? When we look at the prices of systems today, we can see that the charge for labour is way too high. We will simply charge less so that your system pays for itself much earlier.
As I write, my research has shown that the average cost of a system (on a 'per watt' basis) is around 8.8 euros per watt. This will fall in time to come. Like now! We can promise you will pay no more than 6.6 per watt. Thus a 2.5kw system will cost around 14,500 euros. Sadly...plus tva. If governments are serious about green issues.... these systems should be exempt from tva. Tell us what you think.
You are entitled to 50% of the cost of materials back (bad system) by way of grants. We feel that companies are jumping on the 'new tech' bandwagon and way overcharging for labour.
How can it be illegal for Sunn-ergy to charge you more on the parts and less on labour if it means you get more back from 'fast promising' yet 'slow to deliver' governments? That is our choice no? Talk to us. You will lose nothing but a few minutes of your time and you might, just might, decide we are worth asking for a quote. We all like a legal loophole, now and again, if nobody gets hurt!
* Sunn-ergy aim find the makers of all related solar components around the globe to enable us to install systems for less. We will pass on savings to the clients. Put us to the test and simply ask for a quote. So long as you, the customer, tell us exactly what you want and do not change any aspect of the system, then the end cost will match the quote you received as a result of your enquiry.
* Things always go far better when a client has a good idea as to what he or she wants to acheive from any project. Tell us your requirements. Show us where the system will be housed etc and we will be able to give a very precise quotation for your PV solar system.
* Payment terms ought to be addressed right here. We ask for a 50% deposit as soon as you decide you want you use Sunn-ergy for your installation. This will secure a start date and allow us to order your parts. Please note: we will keep very little in stock due to the high cost of solar energy related panels and components. Thus, your system will take ten weeks to arrive with us.
We ask for another 30% once the work is 50% completed and the remaining 20% once the work is complete and signed off by us as 'fully tested and functioning'.
* An installation should take no more than 5 working days depending on size of system, heights worked at etc. We stay until the work is complete. We will liase closely with the EDF (or your local utility company if in the UK) if you are opting for a grid-tied system.
* We will have 'assurance decenale' in place (for such work) by the time we start our very first installation. This will cover you against faulty workmanship for ten years. We will supply a copy of our cover with every quote. Assurance of this nature is very, very expensive. It almost amounts to the monthly salary of one employee. We were shocked too!
* Only fully qualified electricians will be used to install on the 'power' side of the installation. He/she will also be fully insured independantly of the Sunn-ergy policy. Always ask any tradesperson for proof of cover.
