Sunn-ergy will be taking on residential installations from the month of September 2009. This gives you time to talk to us and others involved with the same installations. Over the coming months we will be searching for the best deals around the globe to enable us to bring systems to the general public for less. Simply put, we feel that companies are charging too much. New technology is often exploited to make a fast profit. Words like 'Making Hay' and the 'shining sun' spring to mind! To make a living, not a killing, from such work in a beautiful and tranquil part of France is nothing less than a priveledge.

We have looked at several installations using photo voltaic panels (pv panels). The average cost per watt appears to be 8.8 euros. That is to say a system using 15 x 165watt pv panels, fully installed and connected to the grid (grid-tied), will cost 22,000 euros. With us we reckon on 15,097 (6.1 euros per watt) for the same. On average (in France) householders will get the full 8k (in grants) towards this system from two or three sources. We are looking into this in detail so we can inform clients as to what help is out there and how to get it. So that no mistake is made, we have secured the services of a bi-lingual French lady to deal with all the beaurocracy on the French side. We will post the facts in due course.

Anyway......we already know that we can bring the same system to the market right now for 6.1 euros per watt for roof mounted arrays and 5.8 per watt for ground mounted arrays.
